Never Cease to Learn

Teaching is a simple task but to become an effective teacher is another story, becoming an effective teacher is not just about teaching the students new lessons everyday or giving them assignments, it is a result where students feels a change. Stealing is another way to become effective, stealing by researching. teachers like us needs to research that's why we get a lot of information. We steal to improve, to change, and to become effective. "Good habits are the key to all success" a quote stated by Harry K. Wong, Ed. D. it means that we have to make stealing as our habit. Habit is what we do everyday. Therefore, the habit of continually learning is the best way to become an effective teacher. this determines the persons success in life if you make everything good as your habit.

An Inspiration for Mentors

"A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart"

This is a quote saying about a teacher who inspires everyone. Teaching was never been in my vocabulary, I never like teaching and neither do I want to take Education as my course. I was influenced by my peers that's why I take up Education. I am an Education student major in Physical Education, in my 3 years of taking this course, this is the first time that I have encouraged myself to strive hard. Sabrina Ongkiko, an Ateneo graduate and a public school teacher talks about how people see about public schools. She is an inspiration and a well renowned teacher. Upon seeing her video on youtube, my mindset has changed, therefore teaching is not just teaching, it is to inspire, to touch many hearts, and to mold your students. I also want to inspire everyone, not just by the way I look but by the way I teach. One thing I discovered about Sabrina is that she is a passionate teacher, she takes teaching as her passion. doing what you love the most is passion, therefore when you make teaching as your passion then you will become a good teacher. For her, "to believe is to see" is more accurate rather than "to see is to believe", its not important to see first what they can just do, it is to believe what they can do and she believes more in her students capabilities. Sabrina is not just a public teacher, she is an inspiration, an inspiration for MENTORS.
